Ping G740 Iron Set

The PING G740 Iron Set is engineered to deliver exceptional forgiveness. easy launch. and consistent distance for golfers seeking maximum confidence throughout the bag. Designed with a larger profile and perimeter-weighted construction. the G740 irons position the center of gravity low and deep to help golfers launch the ball higher with improved stability on off-center strikes. A thin. flexible face increases ball speed across the hitting area. helping maintain distance and consistency even when contact isn’t perfect.

Built with performance and feel in mind. the G740 irons incorporate a three-piece PurFlex cavity badge that works with the thin face to enhance sound and dampen vibrations at impact. The dual-camber sole design improves turf interaction by helping the club glide smoothly through the ground while keeping the center of gravity positioned low and back for higher launch and faster ball speeds. A shallower face and shorter hosel save weight. allowing mass to be redistributed into the back of the clubhead to increase MOI and provide outstanding forgiveness across the set.
